A Protocol for Cooperation between AMOC and University of Alexandria

Seeking Egypt’s vision 2030, AMOC takes measures to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.Today the 2 nd of November 2021 and in the presence of representatives from AMOC and the university of Alexandria, Chem. Ehab AbdelHalim; AMOC’s chairman and CEO and Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa; president of Alexandria University signed a protocol for joint cooperation between the two sides. The protocol is an important milestone for linking academia to industry. The interaction between the government initiatives, educational entities and industrial facilities builds a brighter industrial and scientific future. In his speech, Chem. AbdelHalim emphasizes the value of associating the two worlds; academia and work through connecting the academic research to the real-world application addressing the goals of the sustainable development. This will certainly have an influence on translating the academic skills into advanced career skills thus reaching optimized problem-solving solutions throughout AMOC’s production process. For his part, Dr. Konsowa highlighted the significant role of Internship programmes which offer students the opportunity to acquire a direct practical experience and a hands-on knowledge of the job market trends.
