A Step Towards Better Care: AMOC Inaugurated Dialysis Water Treatment Unit

As part of the Petroleum Sector’s strategy to strengthen its social responsibility role, and in collaboration with various state institutions, AMOC, on the 25th of November 2024, inaugurated a water treatment unit serving the dialysis center at the Petroleum Hospital in Alexandria. The inauguration was attended by Eng. Amr Lotfy, AMOC’s Chairman and CEO, Eng. Ibrahim Massoud, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Petroleum Hospital in Alexandria, Mr. Khaled Abu Khatwa, AMOC’s CSR General Manager and Dr. Mohamed Anwar, AMOC’s Medical Affairs GM Assistant. The water treatment unit which aims to support the hospital’s dialysis center and serve a large segment of patients, reflects AMOC’s commitment to achieving sustainable development and creating a meaningful impact on the Egyptian community. Eng. Amr Lotfy emphasized that AMOC has adopted a comprehensive vision for strategic projects that achieve sustainable development in its fullest sense. He also highlighted the company’s dedication to enhancing healthcare and ensuring patient satisfaction through embracing scientific and technological advances in all areas. Social responsibility initiatives remain an integral pillar of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategy, consistent with prioritizing societal needs alongside economic objectives to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
