AMOC Signs Cooperation Protocol to Support Villages; 45 and AlWafaa-Wal-Amal in Amriya, Alexandria

In line with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ ongoing commitment to social responsibility, AMOC signed a Cooperation Protocol with Al-Orman Association on the 3rd of September, 2024 marking another milestone in the Petroleum Sector’s community development initiatives, particularly in undeserved regions. The protocol was signed by Dr.Eng. Amr Lotfy, AMOC’s Chairman and CEO and Mr. Ahmed El-Gendy; Chairman of Al-Orman Association. The signing ceremony was attended by key figures including Eng. Alaa Hagar; Undersecretary of the Ministry of Petroleum for the Technical Office, MP Rizk Deif-Allah representing Al-Amriya, Eng. Medhat Shaaban; Assistant Chairman of EGPC for Social Responsibility, Mr. Mamdouh Shaaban, Al-Orman General Manager and Mr. Khaled Abu Khatwa; AMOC’s CSR General Manager. The protocol includes various development projects such as renovating 60 homes, initiating 20 small-scale business projects and providing livestock to ensure sustainable income for families in need. These projects are part of a larger initiative led by the Ministry of Petroleum which focuses on fostering sustainable development and improving living standards across Egypt. AMOC, along with other Petroleum sector’s entities has a long history of community support in Alexandria. These past efforts have included contributions in health, education, training, capacity building and housing renovations.
