AMOC inks purchase deals with Dana Gas, Iraq
Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria Mineral Oils Company (AMOC) has reached an agreement with UAE’s Dana Gas to purchase 140,000 barrels of condensate per month, Reuters reported on Sunday.
AMOC’s CEO Amr Mustafa said last week that the final agreement will be signed within a week.
Mustafa added that the company has signed a deal with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) to buy 500,000 barrels of Iraqi crude every two months. The CEO did not mention the value of the two agreements.
Last April, the EGPC had inked a deal with Iraq’s State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO) to import 12 million barrels of the Iraqi Crude to the Egyptian side for one year.
